Senior Living Community Offers New, Nationwide Speech Therapy Program for Parkinson’s Disease

FISHERS, Ind. (July 13, 2026) — CarDon & Associates, a Bloomington, Ind.-based senior living management company, is proud to announce that its Fishers community, Hamilton Trace, will offer residents access to a new, nationwide speech therapy program designed for individuals with Parkinson’s disease and related neurological disorders.

Developed by the nonprofit organization, Parkinson Voice Project, SPEAK OUT!® Therapy focuses on helping these individuals strengthen their voice, improve clarity, support swallowing function and communicate with greater confidence.

Led by Hamilton Trace’s skilled Speech-Language Pathologists, the program will combine education, individual therapy, home practice and ongoing support to help participants continue building skills beyond their therapy sessions.

Program support also includes:

? An in-service presentation for Assisted Living and Independent Living residents

? Monthly support group opportunities for individuals who complete the program

? Refresher sessions every 3–6 months to assess continued therapy needs

? Community outreach efforts to make this resource available to non-residents throughout Hamilton County
