Aspire Indiana Health honored in IBJ nonprofit awards
NOBLESVILLE, Ind. (July 1, 2026) -- Aspire Indiana Health has been honored in the Indianapolis Business Journal Nonprofit Excellence Awards as a Distinguished Honoree in the category of Nonprofit of the Year. ?
“This honor belongs to the employees of Aspire. Every day, they carry forward the excellence of our mission to serve Hoosiers who are facing complex challenges and barriers to healthcare,” President & CEO Antony Sheehan said. “We thank IBJ and the judges for their recognition of our efforts, and our partners and supporters whose collaboration enables Aspire to serve at such a level.”?
The extensive nomination process included testimonials from elected officials and stakeholders from across Central Indiana, and extolled the vastly increased range and quality of services Aspire provides. Just in the last two years, Aspire has added Shelby and Hancock counties to its service area, built a 24/7 crisis continuum, rolled out an improved pharmacy model that includes specialty medicine, and become a key player in the region’s response to homelessness.
This year’s IBJ awards recognize more than two dozen community leaders, philanthropists, businesses and organizations. A celebration ceremony will take place at the Indiana Roof Ballroom on Aug. 4.
