About this event
A morning workshop series centered on member-led instruction, designed to foster education and business growth.
In this interactive workshop, facilitated by accessABILITY, participants will examine their job descriptions through an accessibility lens and explore strategies to make the initial stages of job recruitment more inclusive. Together, we’ll identify potential language, structure, and expectations barriers that may unintentionally exclude qualified candidates.
This workshop will provide:
- Tips to utilize when reviewing your job descriptions for inclusivity and accessibility.
- Strategies to refine responsibilities and qualifications for a broader, more diverse applicant pool.
- Hands-on exercises to update and improve a job or volunteer position description in real time.
Please bring a professional or volunteer job description from your organization. By the end of the session, you will have a revised version that fosters a more inclusive and accessible recruitment process.
