Frankfort, IN — The Farmers Bank is pleased to announce that Latoya Brown joined the bank on October 25, 2021, as Mortgage Loan Underwriter. 

Latoya comes to us with nearly 10 years of experience in the mortgage industry, where prior positions included: quality control processor & administrator, mortgage post closer, loan case opener, loan officer assistant, and mortgage loan support. She most recently worked for Elements Financial Federal Credit Union as a Lending Risk Specialist.

She obtained her Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Economics from Valdosta State University, in Valdosta, Georgia. She currently is enrolled in the Master of Business Administration (MBA) program at the University of Maryland-Global Campus and recently became a Certified Master Mortgage Underwriter from the National Association of Mortgage Underwriters.

Latoya recently lived in Ramstein, Germany, where her husband is an active duty Air Force Staff Sergeant & is currently stationed. They have been married for two years and she has a bonus son who is four year old. She moved from Atlanta, Georgia, in 2019, where she lived for 19 years. She currently resides in Noblesville, Indiana. In her spare time, she enjoys roller skating, traveling, binge watching Netflix, dancing and listening to music.
