PMG hires PR director with vast experience in media and communications

CARMEL, INDIANA – Pence Media Group (PMG) is proud to welcome a new team member
with demonstrated public relations expertise. Anna Carrera has joined the woman-owned
company as Public Relations Director.
Anna came to PMG after working as the Interim Associate Director of Research
Communications for IU School of Medicine, the largest medical school in the country. Among
other responsibilities, she led the communications team for the Indiana Clinical and
Translational Sciences Institute, a $33-million dollar collaboration among Indiana’s premier
research universities – Indiana University, Purdue University and the University of Notre
Dame.
Anna’s previous experience includes a decade of on-air reporting and anchoring for local TV
news stations, most recently at WTHR (NBC) in Indianapolis. She recently received her Master
of Arts in Public Relations from IUPUI, a program which emphasizes hands-on learning of
tactics and techniques for PR campaign research, development and evaluation.
