Meet José Lusende
Financial Advisor, Edward Jones Investments

DESCRIBE YOUR PROFESSIONAL ROLE:

I joined Edward Jones after my family and I had been clients for a while. This experience has afforded me the sharp ability to relate to my clients and deeply connect with them. My primary focus is to learn what's most important to them. With Edward Jones's vast array of resources, tools, services, and established processes, I develop tailored financial strategies to help meet their specific needs. I partner with them for life to help keep them on track. Helping my clients achieve their financial goals is a calling for me, not just a career.

Putting my clients first is Edward Jones' number one core value and, indeed, my first and foremost priority. Rooted in our Midwestern values, we believe in doing the right thing, taking care of our neighbors, working hard. Our philosophy has served us well for nearly a century. When you are here, you become a valued member of the Edward Jones family. This was the distinguishing characteristic that sets this Fortunate 300 financial firm apart for me as a client then, and as a financial advisor today.

These are some of the areas in which I help individuals, families, small businesses, and nonprofit organizations:

  • Business Retirement Plans
  • Education Savings

  • Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs)
  • Investor Education Programs
  • Life Insurance, Long Term Care, Disability Insurance

WHAT IS EXCITING ABOUT 2021?

With the economy reopening, life is slowly but surely moving to some semblance of the pre-pandemic normal. Professionally, I look forward to the opportunity of serving more individuals, families, and small businesses in our community. Personally, I look forward to attending some sporting and entertainment events in person as well as some travel time.

WHAT ARE A FEW OF YOUR FAVORITE PLACES TO EAT, DRINK, OR HANG OUT IN HAMILTON COUNTY?

Hamilton County offers us a unique blend of country-feel and growing city. We have a broad choice of eateries and I like experimenting with a lot of new ones. You will find me easily at St. Yared Ethiopian Restaurant, Another Broken Café, Java House or Monterey Coastal Cuisine as of late. Maestro Pizza on East 141st Street makes great pizzas and Mediterranean varieties.

The area is blessed with amazing trails, parks, and youth sports venues. Of course, you got to like the roundabouts when you live, work and/or play here. The Fourth of July boat parade and fireworks on the Geist Reservoir are quite an experience.

More importantly, we love the people. We meet people who are genuinely kind and friendly. There is a true sense of community here.
