Knowledge Services, a Fishers-based consulting and technology company, is currently hiring a Marketing Director. The Marketing Director is responsible for developing and overseeing an integrated communications strategy to drive business growth and brand equity for Knowledge Services and the brands we support, including Knowledge Services and all practice areas, dotStaff, StateRAMP, Crosspoint Center, and The Club.

The Marketing Director will work with the VP of Public Affairs to develop strategy and priorities, leading our internal Marketing and Client Pursuits Teams to achieve our objectives.

The Marketing Director leads, mentors, and further develops marketing team members and helps foster a positive and collaborative team environment. Providing marketing consulting and building marketing campaigns for our internal and external audiences will be a large focus of this position. In addition, this role is responsible for further reinforcing and building upon the team’s understanding of foundational marketing principles, as well as consistent branding and messaging techniques.

This role offers a hybrid work environment.

Works with VP of Public Affairs to develop strategy to drive business growth that support the company’s strategic initiatives and business development goals
Manages Marketing Manager and Client Pursuits team members for operational and strategic excellence
Manages and supports professional development of Team Members
Accountable for Public Relations strategy and execution
Supports business proposals as a member of RFP Team, guiding message development upfront and providing compliance checks for completion
Serves as key point of contact for Internal Stakeholders, partnering with Leadership to achieve goals and initiatives
Excellent writer, contributing to marketing content, proposals, web copy as needed
Serves as key point of contact for strategic marketing vendors and consultants
Follow safe work practices and company rules and prevent accidents and injuries

Bachelor’s degree minimally required
Government experience or industry experience serving government preferred
Prior experience managing direct reports
Prior Public Relations professional working experience
Strong experience writing copy, press releases, scripts, blogs, and/or proposals / grants
Well-rounded marketing experience with knowledge of foundational marketing principles
Proven ability to build cohesive marketing campaigns with appropriate branding and messaging
